Lumiere, meaning ‘star’ in French, inspires this update on the signature hoops. The cube shape charm is designed with a decorative eye, this piece is part of the Lucien collection of ‘protection’ pieces which draws on the timeless and powerful motif of the eye, designed to watch over the wearer. The eye has been a symbol of protection for centuries in many cultures from Egyptian and Greek to Roman and Turkish and this design is influenced by ornate street lamps outside the Palais Garnier, designed by Henri Alfred Jacquemart who our designers were in awe of during their trip to Paris in 2019.
